When you create an account: your name and email. When you submit tips or tag places: the content you provide. When you use the map: your approximate location (only if you grant permission, never stored permanently).
We don't track your browsing behavior. We don't sell your data. We don't use third-party tracking cookies. We don't store your health information or dietary details beyond what you voluntarily contribute.
Your account data lets you sign in and manage your contributions. Information you submit may be displayed publicly to help other people make current local decisions. Your email is used for account-related communications. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.
Cloudflare provides hosting, database, storage, security, and email infrastructure. Better Auth handles authentication. Google services may supply place information and photos. Stripe processes community support and paid business plans on its hosted payment pages.
LocalFinds does not receive or store complete card details. Stripe receives payment information directly. We store the Stripe references, amount, currency, payment status, contribution type, subscription status, and relevant business listing identifier needed for receipts, account access, refunds, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and financial records.
Stripe acts under its own privacy policy. It may process identity, contact, device, and transaction information to complete payments and meet legal obligations.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can request a copy of your data. You can withdraw consent for location services in your browser settings. Contact privacy@localfinds.cy for any privacy request.
The "near me" feature uses your browser's geolocation API. This data is used only in your browser session to show nearby places. It is not stored in our database. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time.
